Today I headed to Cougar Mountain. It was my third official hike in Seattle since moving here a year and a half ago, and I'm starting to enjoy these kinds of escapes.
I’d say it was an easy hike that took about two hours. I started using an app called Strava, but I don’t fully understand it yet, especially because my Apple Watch died halfway through and couldn’t upload the whole activity. I’ll try it a few more times to see how it works.
The trail followed the main path at first, then branched off a few times into a narrow trail through a somewhat dense forest. I eventually reached Coal Creek Falls, which were a bit dry, something I’ll keep in mind for next year.
